Edinburgh to St Andrews is approximately 55 miles north east via the Queensferry Crossing and through Fife, a classic golf trip among our long distance chauffeur routes. It is mostly one way, with groups coming from Edinburgh Airport and travelling directly to the coast, usually an hour after their arrival.
The bridge crossing is free as there are no charges on any bridges in Scotland; thus, nothing extra for the travel. It is the boot space that needs to be thought of as the golf bag takes up two suitcases' space.
Edinburgh to St Andrews
St Andrews hasn't had its own railway station since 1969, which sets this route apart from the others straight away.
The alternative is a train to Leuchars, then a taxi for the final five miles or so. It works, but it means a change, a wait, and a second booking at the other end - on top of getting the golf clubs there in the first place. For a group travelling with equipment, it's the least practical stretch of the whole trip.
A car covers all of it in one go, door to clubhouse, for a single price that covers the whole party.
Provide details regarding pick up location, destination, the travel date and specify how many golf bags you have along with the passengers. If the travel involves your arrival, also provide the flight number. Consider chauffeur service in Edinburgh for a day rather than a one-way trip, airport transfers in Edinburgh for the airport part of the travel, and Edinburgh to Gleneagles transfers for the Perthshire route.

The toll charge of the bridge is zero, and it has been since 2018. Also, the forecourt charge of Gatwick Airport, along with the parking cost in case a driver picks you up from the Short Stay Car Park, is covered in the fare.
On returning, your flight is monitored and the pick-up is made according to the arrival, not the timetable. The first hour is free of charge, and the chauffeur is waiting in there with a sign with your name on it.
